This website has been created by the Older Persons Care Collaborative for the people of the West Moreton Area. This includes all of the Ipswich City Council area, as well as parts of the Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Somerset Council areas. This website aims to provide information to the older people of West Moreton, their carers, family and health professionals who are caring for them.

COVID-19

We understand that many people in our West Moreton community are concerned about COVID-19, which is also known as Coronavirus. Since the Global Pandemic was declared in March by the World Health Organisation, we have all experienced restrictions to where we can go and how we interact with people.
Whilst most people with COVID-19 infection experience mild symptoms and recover, the impact of COVID-19 infection is greater for people with serious illness and people aged over 70 years old.
